Formed in 1844, Maidstone Swimming Club is recognised as England's oldest competitive swimming organisation. Based in the heart of Kent at the County town's own leisure centre, not only do we boast an enviable record of swimming and diving achievements, but also an eye for future success.  We recognise our rich historical base - whilst aiming to nuture and develop tomorrow's swimming sensations.

The diving team have 3 divers qualified for the National Skills Finals taking place at Plymouth Life Centre on 6 - 7 July 2019.
Divers are:
Karis Gous 11 yrs
Sam Harvey 13 yrs
Hannah Cleary 14 - 16 yrs

Nicole Attends Southeast Region Open Water Training Camp

Well done to Nicole Quiller for being selected for the South East Region Open Water Development Camp, Nicole qualified for this camp with her 1500m freestyle swim at Kent County Championships.


The camp held today started with a Pre pool Land training session then a 90 minute pool session to learn all the open water skills.  After lunch a tough session in the lake putting all the skills into practice.

Maidstone Swimmers Head To Nationals

Congratulations to three of our swimmers who have qualified for the British and Swim England Nationals this year.


Matt Burrows has qualified for three swims at the British Championships in Glasgow 50m, 100m,  and 200m Breastroke.Well done Matt outstanding achievment!! 




Qualifying in the Swim England National Summer Meet for 200m Backstoke are Lauren Braddon and Nicole Quiller, Nicole has qualified as a 12 year old in the 12/13 age group, an amazing achievement. Well done all of you, all your hard work has paid off.

Maidstone have two new Southeast Region Champions today, Nicole Quiller 200m Backstroke and Matt Burrows 100m Breaststroke. Nicole also gained a silver medal in the 400m free.

The first day of the 15 and over Regional Championships started well, three Maidstone swimmers swam,

Hope Paice 50m Backstroke 22nd 33.40, Oliver Tritton 50m Freestyle 32nd 25.92.


Lauren Braddon qualified for two finals with two personal best times 50m Fly 29.22 and 200m Backstroke 2.22.32.Lauren was 7th in the fly and 8th in the backstroke. 


Oliver Tritton 50m Fly 26th 27.37.


Lauren Braddon was 9th in the 200m IM and  7th in the 100m fly 1.05.10
