Club Championships 2014 - Accepted Entries
Written by Administrator
Monday, 28 July 2014 21:25

Entries have now been processed for the 2014 Club Championships and can be viewed here.

With the exception of Master swimmers everyone who has entered club champs will have been automatically entered into the 50m aggregate events. If you are not able to make it on the day then that's fine but please remember that you need to swim in all of the Aggregate events to get a placing.

Because of the change to the layout of the application form a lot of people also failed to spot the 100 IM event which is open to 24 and under (not just over 25).  To compensate for this I have entered everyone who seems capable into the 100 IM event.  If you have not been entered in for this event but believe you should have been then please let me know ASAP.

Note that ages are as at 31st December 2014. Please check that your age is correct. You may find that you have not been accepted for some of the events you applied for because of your age.

Please check your entries carefully and get back to me as soon as possible of you spot any issues.

Please also remember that in order to compete:

- Any outstanding fees have to have been paid

- All Club Championship Trophies have to have been returned to Michaela by 11th September.

- You need to arrive at the pool in good time to register before 7pm.

See the promoters conditions for more details.

If you haven't been entered for an event but would like to swim to get a time then please let us know ASAP.

All queries should be directed to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

Please remember that there is no training in the main pool or LTS boom pool during Club Champs events.  LTS training pool sessions and Diving are unaffected.

National Diver

Alex Hull (9 years) went to the National Skills diving competition at Sheffield following his qualification from the South East and London Regionals for National Skills.  Alex came 9th out of 18 boys when he competed at Nationals.

Ken then decided to take Alex to the ASA South East Regional Age Groups competition on the 18th May at Southampton.  Considering Alex only had 2 weeks to train for Age Groups he did extremely well and has qualified for National Age Groups on the 1 metre springboard in the 10-11 year boys group.

For the club to have a qualified age group diver is a fantastic achievement and Ken is extremely proud of this.

Well done Alex!
